- Description
- A digital print depicting a black-and-white image of two people, a man and a woman, holding picket signs at the 1963 March on Washington in the middle of the street. In the background are buildings and trees. In the bottom right quadrant is a pennant flag held by an unseen person.
- The man is standing to the left and the woman on the right. The man is dressed in light color short sleeved shirt with a dark color tie. He is wearing light color pants, dark belt, dark socks, and dark loafers, with black sunglesses. On his proper right shoulder hangs a camera while his proper right arms is raised, holding a picket sign that reads [LiKE, MAN, / I’M, TiRED / (OF WAiTING]. His proper left leg is stepped forward.
- The woman is standing straight up. She is wearing a knee-length dark dress with white strapped sandals. A bag, similar to a tote, hangs from her proper right foearm. Both of her arms are raised at the chest level as she closely holds a picket sign reading [LIBERTY FOR ALL / OR / DEATH FOR... / THIS WE M...].
