- Description
- A digital print depicting a black-and-white image of a street scene in New York City. There are people of all ages in the scene. Most appear to be on the sidewalk, with a few people standing on the street near the sidewalk. Some people appear to be in motion while others are standing or sitting on a stoop. There are three children who appear to be playing with a string.
- Slightly off centered to the left in the image is the back of a hexagon-shaped street sign. A young girl is posing with the post, facing away from the camera. Towards the center of the photograph is a religious figure in a habit, possibly a Catholic nun based on the cowl. They are a holding a cloth to their nose and mouth with their proper right hand while carrying a book with a bookmark of a dangling cross and a came with their proper left arm. With them is a carrito de compras, or a portable shopping cart.
- The photograph does not have any inscriptions, front of back.
