- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of an older woman, or an abuelita, sitting on a chair with her back to the camera. She is seated in a corridor in front of three statues at The Met Cloisters. The two most visibly statues are iterations of the Virgin Mary holding a baby Jesus are to the left and in the center while the third indistinguishable statue is to the right. The woman is wearing a short-sleeved, long dress with black shoes and a black hat.
- There are no inscriptions on the front of the photograph. The back has alpha-numerical inscription along the edge in the upper left corner, handwritten in pencil.
