- Description
- A gelatin silver print depicting a woman, Shea Cobb, braiding the hair of her cousin, Andrea. The pair are pictured in Cobb's mother's bedroom. Andrea sits on the bed, while Shea kneels behind her. Shea holds one of Andrea's braids in her mouth while she attends to her hair with both hands. Andrea holds a round mirror in front of her, watching Shea's progress. Behind them, Shea's daughter, Zion, looks out the window. On a tall dresser next to the bed are two portraits of Shea's grandparents, LeRoy and Hazel Cobb. There is a keyboard at the foot of the bed. There are no marks or inscriptions, front or back.
