- Description
- This is a matte color print of a digital image captured during the days leading up to the Commitment March on August 28, 2020. The photograph depicts JD Barnes, an editorial photographer, from the shoulders up. Barnes is wearing a dark green shirt underneath a camouflage patterned shirt and light blue, long-sleeve jean shirt on top. He is carrying something over his shoulder as a black strap is across his chest. Barnes is wearing headgear, similar to balaclava, covering most of his head and face except his eyes. The headgear is in a pixelated camouflage pattern with the mouth coverage black and he has a dark colored paisley bandana around his neck. He is wearing a black eye patch over his right eye and is wearing a pair of black browline glasses. Barnes is wearing a red cloth beret with two pins, one of a raised black fist and one circle pin with a black panther against a white background.
