- Description
- A digital scan (jpg file) of an architectural drawing for a Warriors in Transition family activity center at the Fort Sill military post in Oklahoma. The original drawing was done in pen and ink.
- To the far left of the drawing, there is a partial early concept elevation sketch of the main building and front colonnade. Dashed vertical lines depict roofs, while bolder lines below depict arches, windows, and a door.
- A diagonal line separates the early concept elevation sketch from a more detailed elevation drawing to the right. This detailed drawing contains color, roof pitch and style, dimensions, elevation markers, and annotations.
- The building's roofs are depicted as red and annotated as [SSN METAL] with a four-foot rise and a twelve-foot run for the portico and main building, and three-foot rise and twelve-foot run for the colonnade’s roof. The portico has four windows facing the front of the building and a chandelier above the front door. The colonnade, extending to the portico’s left and right consists of continuous arches that terminate in beige brick bases.
- To the far right, elevation markers demarcate the ridges and eaves for each of the three roofs, while green lines at the bottom depict the relative distance between the building’s key features. At the very bottom of the drawing, the title, location and scale are handwritten in green ink as [WT – SFAC FRONT ELEV / FT SILL SCALE: 1/8” =1’-0”].
