A watercolor (a) in a gold wooden frame (b) of the Arc de Triomphe by artist and architect Julian F. Abele.
The watercolor depicts the Arc de Triomphe, located at Place de l'Étoile at the top of the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.The giant white arch is in the center of the painting against a pale blue sky with green foliage along the edges of the scene. Colorful figures of men and women are depicted walking in and around the arch along a wide plaza. There are colors of white, green, blue, and yellow, throughout the painting. The painting is bordered by off-white backing, set behind glass, with a red, black, and gold colored square wooden frame.
