Description
A glass and metal lamp with hand-painted decoration by artist and architect Julian F. Abele.
This lamp features a brown metal base (a), a cylindrical, hand-painted body, and a white inverted conical glass shade (b). The body of the lamp features a dark green background on which Abele painted a center design of architectural drafting tools and books against green foliage surrounded by an elaborate ornamental border of a golden scroll design. The lamp is without a shade and features a black turn knob at the base of the socket.
