- Description
- A black-and-white archival print of store-front with address 894 bearing signage supporting Angela Davis, the Soledad Brothers, and all political prisoners. The facade consists of large windows with decorative cloth blinds. A large sign reading [ANGELA IS FREE ON BAIL! / WE'VE GOT OUR SISTER BESIDE US] hangs outside the windows. Additional signs appear to be taped to windows from the inside. One reads [FREE ANGELA / AND ALL / POLITICAL PRISONERS] and another reads [FREE THE / SOLEDAD / BROTHERS / free all / Political / Prisoners]. One of the double-doors is propped open, but the one that is closed has a tee shirt featuring portrait of Angela Davis hanging in the window along with two signs. On back at top left in pencil is [1972 - San Jose]; at center is [Stephen Shames / 2/10].
