- Description
- This is a charcoal and ink drawing depicting a portrait of a man with the upper part of his face deliberately wiped away. The man is depicted from the shoulders up. He is wearing a grey suit jacket with subtle stripes over a white shirt with a high collar and a dark grey tie. He is facing the viewer and has a neat mustache. Starting at his eyes, his face is obscured with long, sweeping horizontal strokes across his page. There is a faint grey shadow surrounding the entire bust. Superimposed over the drawing are a few thin branches with leaves in black ink. The drawing is signed and dated in black ink in the lower center right corner: [WYATT JR. "79"].
