- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of Sable Boykin and Sasha Boykin captured by Dana Scruggs for Beth Richards Swimwear. The photograph of the twin sisters, taken in Brooklyn, New York, depicts them entwined in mirrored dynamic poses.
- The sister on the right is standing with her proper left leg planted in front of her and slightly bent at the knee. Her proper left leg is extended straight back, her back is deeply bent, and her arms are fully extended behind her, parallel to the floor. Her face is lifted upwards and her hair drapes loosely below. The sister on the left is in a mirrored version of the same pose. The sisters’ bodies meet at the waist and their legs are entwined. The sister on the left is wearing a black, two-piece swimsuit and the sister on right is wearing a one-piece swimsuit with a cutout over the lower ribcage and the back. The background is white.
- The photograph has white borders: three thick borders at the top and sides and one thinner border at the bottom.
- The verso is plain white. At the center, is the artist’s signature, the print’s edition number, and print date handwritten in black ink that reads [Dana Scruggs / 1/7 + 2 AP / 2022[underlined]].
