- Description
- A blue bone china accent plate from the Wedgwood X Sheila Bridges collaboration, featuring the basketball vignette from Bridges' Harlem Toile de Jouy design.
- On the face of the small, round blue plate is a scene of three young men playing basketball. The men wear 18th century clothing and play beneath a tree with the basket suspended from a limb by ribbon. A balustrade is visible in the background behind them. The only color in the otherwise black, white and grey design is the reddish-brown basketball and the yellow of one of the player's shirts. The men and the tree appear with a white background while black and grey lines of the rest of the design appear against the blue background of the plate. The plate has a black rim. The underside of the plate is white with a backstamp design of the reddish-brown basketball dropping from the basket suspended from a tree limb. There is printed black text in the center that reads [WEDGWOOD / X / SHEILA BRIDGES / Bone China / Dishwasher Safe].
