- Description
- A color screenprint with an abstract geometric design of rectilinear shapes in yellow and white. Some of the yellow rectangles, which are laid horizontally over the mostly vertical white rectangles, are textured to resemble wood planks. The shapes rest on top of a central circle design of a black grid or screen, behind which are tumbled grey blocks. Along the top of the design are linear shapes in deep purple. All of the shapes are outlined in thick black lines and speckled with grey. The print has a white margin that is thicker along the bottom edge. Handwritten in graphite just below the design is [A/P] at left, [The City of Distracting Images] at center, and the artist's signature [Mavis Pusey] at right.
