- Description
- This is the “Pendulum neckpiece” designed and created by jeweler Art Smith. The necklace is made of a sterling silver wire shaped as an open-ended torque necklace, or neck ring, with flattened ends to contain a movable sterling silver sphere the ring runs through. The back of the sphere has a hole. Attached to the bottom of the sphere is the pendant’s long, vertical metal rod that begins circular, is horizontally flattened in the middle, and is vertically flattened at the end. Attached here is a flattened disk with a ring at the bottom is attached to the end of the metal rod to complete the pendant. The necklace has two hallmarks on the backside of neck ring’s right flattened end, [STERLING] followed by Smith’s signature [Art Smith].
