- A newsletter produced by The Chicago Athenaeum in celebration of its first organized Chicago International Biennale. As part of the festival, the Athenaeum assembled exhibitions from Croatia, France, Germany, Finland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, and the United States. The newsletter contains an introduction from the chairman of the Chicago Athenaeum and summaries of the exhibitions. Back page of newsletter serves as exterior of mailing; one side has paid postage notice with return address, other side has a list of architects featured in the Biennale. Approximately fifty listed architects have names highlighted by hand; handwritten note at bottom of page reads [In Exhibition - Design Diaspora: Black Architects and International Architecture - 1970-1990 (Page 4)] Page four has a summary of the "Design Diaspora: Black Architects and International Architecture 1970-1990" exhibition. Seven numbered pages.
