- A lithograph titled “Hope” by Shepard Fairey. Using the color palette of red, beige, blue, and dark blue, the poster is a headshot of Barack Obama from the chest up wearing a suit with a red tie. Obama’s proper left side of the face and background are red and the proper right side of his face is highlighted in white and shadowed with blue, the same color as the background. He is looking slightly up and into the distance. At the bottom of the poster in blue text is [HOPE]. Above the letter “E” is Obama’s campaign logo, a blue half circle representing the sun rising over a field made of red and white stripes.
