- Description
- A framed mixed media work on paper “Untitled” by Benny Andrews. The artwork uses black, blue, red, green, and yellow ink on white paper. At the center is a black outline of a woman with coily hair. She appears from the legs up, wearing a dress-like garment. Her left arm, shaded yellow, is resting on a blue support while her head rests on her left hand. There is a yellow vertical line behind the woman. Along the edge are flowers and leaves drawn with red and green ink.
- The artist signed the artwork on the front, lower right corner in black ink: [BENNY ANDREWS / JAN 5, 1975]. On the backing of the frame, in pencil, is a balance note written and signed by E. J. Montgomery
