Description
An offset color lithograph titled “Reflections of Another Time” by Ernest Crichlow, depicting a woman tending her garden. The woman appears in profile on the right, wearing a dark purple garment with a lighter color apron and her hands gathered in front of her. She is wearing multiple thin bracelets on her right wrist with a pearl-like earring on her left ear. Her eyes are closed, and her hair is gathered in a side bun slightly above her left ear. She is facing the garden, with multi-colored blooms in a field of green, which extends into the distance. There are two figures in the background on the left side of the artwork: the person on the left is wearing a white top and flowy yellow bottom garment, the person on the right is wearing an orange top and flowy purple skirt. In the distant background, a blue sky meets blue water along the horizon.
In graphite, beneath the image is the edition in the front, lower left corner [45/125] and below the inscriuption is an embossed stamp from Karl & Gail Inc. The title of the artwork is in the front, bottom center ["Reflections of Another Time"], and the artist's signature in the front, lower right corner [Ernest Crichlow]. Below the signature is an embossed stamp from the Vargas Fine Art Publishing Company.
