- A paperback pamphlet of James Boggs' Manifesto for a Black Revolutionary Party. The cover of the pamphlet is a tan color with the title is at the top in black ink. Beneath the title is an illustration of a black hand holding the world. The price is at the bottom left side and the author’s name is at the bottom right, both in black ink. There are forty (40) interior pages printed in black ink on white paper. The text advocates for organizing a Black Revolution based on a Marxist approach and is presented in five sections: the preamble, Chapter I: Racism and Revolution, Chapter II: Who Will Make the Revolution, Chapter III: How Black Power with Revolutionize America, Chapter IV: The Black Revolutionary Party, and the conclusion. The interior back cover has a list of “Recommended Reading” with works by Boggs and others available from the Committee for Political Development in Detroit, Michigan, or Pacesetters Publishing House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The exterior back cover is blank.
