Description
Official game used basketball from the American Basketball League.
The brown leather basketball has black, curved seams and dimpled "grip point" texture. Darker brown text stamped on the ball reads [SPALDING] above a circular American Basketball League Logo. To the left of the logo is: [Abe Saperstein] with [Commissioner] to the right, both in script font. Below is another circular logo: [LAST / BILT], followed by a patent number underneath. On the other side of the basketball there is a small black circle with a tiny hole in it where the air pump goes. The basketball shows signs of wear and tear, including some fading and other discoloration.
