- Official game used basketball from the American Basketball League.
- The brown leather basketball has black, curved seams and dimpled "grip point" texture. Darker brown text stamped on the ball reads [SPALDING] above a circular American Basketball League Logo. To the left of the logo is: [Abe Saperstein] with [Commissioner] to the right, both in script font. Below is another circular logo: [LAST / BILT], followed by a patent number underneath. On the other side of the basketball there is a small black circle with a tiny hole in it where the air pump goes. The basketball shows signs of wear and tear, including some fading and other discoloration.
