- Description
- The is a matte color archival pigment print photograph of protester Pamela Weems by Matthew “Matt” McClain. Weems is wearing hoops, a bedazzled black face mask, and dark lens sunglasses with a metallic rim. Weems is pictured from the neck up with her right hand raised in a fist. The photograph was taken during an August 26, 2020 protest against racism and police brutality in front of the White House, as seen in the background. Six security personnel can be seen on the roof, next to the flag of the United States. The print has a wide white margin around the image and no marks or inscriptions, front or back.
