- Description
- Track and field uniform worn by Isabelle Daniels at the 1956 Summer Olympics. The uniform is a one-piece romper with short sleeves and short pant legs. It is off-white and has a collar with a small, notched lapel. There is a patch pocket on either side of the chest. The proper left pocket features an embroidered shield symbol. The top is blue and white and has the five Olympic rings on it. The bottom has red and white vertical stripes. There is a gold border around the shield. There is some slight ruching in the shoulders. Several buttons go down the top center of the uniform. There is a red, white, and blue striped ruched waistband and red, white, and blue ruched bands around each pant leg. A white label inside the uniform has faded lettering that reads [Sacony ®].
