- Description
- Badge awarded to Isabelle Daniels. The badge is a vertical ellipse-shaped oval. It is silver in color and has a red border. There are silver branches in the border, as well as text which reads [OLYMPIC GAMES / MELBOURNE 1956]. The center of the badge is silver. It features a raised image of a torch with red flames. There is a green shape of Australia behind the handle of the torch. The colorful interlocking Olympic rings are depicted above the torch, and they overlap onto the border. There is a shiny red ribbon with a forked end attached to the badge. It has white text printed on it which reads [ATHLETICS]. The back of the badge has engraved text which reads [4414], and embossed text which reads [K.G. LUKE / MELBOURNE]. There is a metal pin closure above the text. There is faded white text printed on the back of the ribbon, near the top.
