- The Olympic opening and closing ceremonies Team USA jacket worn by Isabelle Daniels at the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics. The off-white jacket has a collar and a notched lapel. There is a shield-shaped metal and enamel pin on the proper left lapel. The top of the pin is blue and white and has the five Olympic rings on it. The bottom of the pin has red and white vertical stripes. There is a patch pocket sewn onto the proper left side of the jacket, on the chest. It features an embroidered shield symbol. The top is blue and white and has the five Olympic rings on it. The bottom has red and white vertical stripes. There is a gold border around the shield. There are four gold-colored buttons going down the front of the jacket. Each button has a raised image of the Olympic shield. There is a flap pocket on either side of the jacket, at the hips. There is a gold button with the Olympic shield image in the center of each flap. The same buttons can also be found on each sleeve. There are three on each side, at the bottom of the front of the sleeve. The inside of the jacket is lined. There is a shoulder pad on either side of the jacket. The back of the jacket has a center seam and two side seams. There are some small holes and areas of discoloration in several areas of the jacket.
