- A signed, second edition of “A Date With A Dish: A Cook Book of American Basic Recipes” by Freda De Knight. The yellow hardcover book has 426 pages with illustrations by S. Lodico and contains recipes originally published in De Knight’s “Ebony” column as food editor, “A Date With A Dish.”
- The front cover of the book jacket is a yellow background with a realistic image of butter knife on the left and a black silhouette of the bowl of a spoon placed sideways from the right edge with white text inside it reading [A DATE / WITH / A DISH.] At the bottom is the black silhouette of a fork placed sideways from the left edge, with white text on the handle [BY FREDA DE KNIGHT].
