- Description
- Prototype for Typochair (Chair, Chair) designed and created by Folayemi Wilson. The chair is entirely constructed from aluminum and incorporates the letters C, H, A, I, and R, using the typeface Neutra designed by Richard Neutra. The chair has a rectangular seat, a high back, and armrests. The high chair back is a thin, squared, rectangular frame with a center splat designed to form the capital letter [A]. The proper left armrest, front leg, and back leg form the capital letter [R]. Attached to the top of the proper right front leg, a handrest forms the capital letter [C]. The proper right front leg, back leg, and side stretcher form the capital letter [H]. There is a squared cross stretcher that forms the capital letter [I] in a horizontal orientation that attaches the left and right legs. The six pieces that comprise the chair have drill holes at the attachment points and the chair is held together with silver tone cap screws.
