Union County Meet Track and Field gold medal for the Running Broad Jump event awarded to Eulace Peacock. The medal is gold colored and clover shaped. The obverse of the medal has a relief circular frame outlined with three (3) bands. In the center is relief bust depiction of the Greek god, Hermes, depicted profile, facing the left side of the medal. Hermes is wearing a winged helmet and a relief sunburst pattern surrounds him. Printed in relief around the edges of the medal is the text, [UNION / COUNTY] at the top and [TRACK & FIELD MEET] on the bottom. On the reverse of the medal, at the top center, is engraved text that reads [H.S.A. / RUN. BROAD JUMP]. Along the bottom edge is a stamped maker’s mark that reads, [MURCHISON / NEWARK NJ / 1/10 GF.].
