- Description
- A Maple Leaf Games medal awarded to Eulace Peacock on March 22, 1935. The gold toned medal is maple leaf shaped, and is hanging from a bar by two (2) short chains. The year of the event is printed in relief text on the bar, [19] and [35]. The year is divided by a white enamel winged foot with a green enamel [A] over the foot. On the obverse of the medal is relief text that reads [MAPLE LEAF GAMES / TORONTO / MARCH 22ND. / ACHILLES CLUB / OF TORONTO]. Above the text is a small, white, round stone set near the top of the leaf. The reverse of the medal, near the bottom edge, is a stamped maker’s mark for Birks Ellis that reads [BIRKS ELLIS], below a three leaf mark insignia.
