Description
A pair of size 12-14 Burlington socks from the travel wardrobe trunk used by Cab Calloway. The brown, knee length, tube socks feature a gold band at the cuff. The legs of the socks are woven with thin ribbing over the shin panel and in step and a basket weave over the back of the calves. Gold text stamped on the sole of the socks reads [Burlington / MAINSTAY TM SUPPORT HOSE / Bam-Lon® 93S STRETCH NYLON / 7% LYCRA® SPANDEX / KING FITS 12-14 / MADE IN U.S.A. STYLE 109]. To the left of the text is a small, square shaped, graphic logo with cross hatching at the center.
