Description
A black, Prest-O-Size brand, one size fits all crossover tie from the travel wardrobe trunk used by Cab Calloway. The satin, self-tying, crossover tie features a neck band that can be adjusted at the back of the neck. Sewn to the interior of the proper right side of the next strap is a black ribbon with embroidered white text and lines that denotes the neck band lengths. The strap is adjustable from 13 1/2 inches to 18 inches. Embroidered at the center of the ribbon is white text that reads [PREST-O-SIZE / REG.U.S.PAT.OFF.] above the band sizes and [FITS EVERY COLLAR SIZE] embroidered below. Sewn to the proper left end of the ribbon is a metal hook and a strap slider that has been threaded through the proper left side of the band used to adjust the neck band length. Embroidered white text printed on the proper left end of the ribbon reads [U.S. PAT. 2125715-2208026]. The tie has pointed ends that cross over below the neck and fastens with two buttons: a black, decorative, braided button that is pushed through a buttonhole on one end of the tie and is visible when worn, and a small black plastic button that secures the tie on the bottom.
