Description
A metal medallion necklace (a) with design notes (bcd), designed and commissioned by Herman Wallace while incarcerated at Angola Prison. The metal medallion, crafted by an unknown inmate at Angola through the Hobbycraft program, is designed with Herman’s name overlaying another symbol and the larger star and is attached to a metal chain. On the reverse is the inscription “Angola 3” and name “maria” for Wallace's partner, Maria Hinds.There are three paper notes created by Herman Wallace: (b) A small piece of lined paper with colored medallion design doodles; (c) A small piece of lined paper with colored pyramidal design doodles; and (d) A wide-ruled sheet of paper with geometric doodles.
