- Description
- Dark grey shorts worn by Herman Wallace while incarcerated at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in Louisiana. The shorts are of cotton and polyester blend and feature a cinched waist, drawstring, and two pockets. The symbol of the Olympic rings and “USA” are embroidered at the bottom of the front left hem. The faded orange print of the word “HUNT” also features vertically along the proper left leg. A black “USA” tag is sewn on the inside, and reads: [SUPPORTING AMERICA’S / OLYMPIC DREAMS / EVERY DAY.]. Embroidered within the square gold border of tag are the Olympic torch flames, rings, and the red and white of the U.S. flag. On the reverse of the tag embroidered in white thread is: [36 USC 380 51-70-029-A].
