- Description
- This is a two piece knit ensemble consisting of a cardigan and a skirt. The ensemble is knit with multiple threads of green, pink and black, creating a marled effect. The cardigan also has rows of vertical black crochet stripes three inches apart, as well as a stripe of this crochet around the neckline. The cardigan has a round neckline and is fastened up the front with six black wood buttons. There is also a metal snap at the bottom of cardigan. The cardigan has a matching drawstring through the bottom hem. It is long sleeved with the sleeves terminating in narrow cuffs. On the inside of the collar there is a white fabric tag with black text that reads “GENE BAILEY.” There are attached shoulder pads in the shoulders. The matching calf-length A-line skirt has a drop waist consisting of a wide yoke of elasticized knit. The skirt has a pattern of raised ridges running vertically the length of the skirt. Inside the back of the waistband is a white tag with black text that reads "GENE BAILEY."
