- A framed and inscribed photograph of Lt. General Colin L. Powell in the West Wing of the White House with Vice President George H. W. Bush.
- Lt. General Powell and the two men to his proper left sit in cream floral-patterned cloth chairs, Powell below a gilt-framed painting on the bright cream wall behind him. Vice President Bush, who is looking down at an open manila folder in his lap, sits in a dark brown high-back leather chair between a large brown desk and tall wood and glass cabinet. To the left of two flags on stands in the upper right corner of the photograph, are: Richard H. Solomon (State Department Director of Policy Planning Staff) and Tom Collamore (legs visible) (Deputy Assistant to the Vice President and Staff Secretary) with documents on their laps. All four men wear dark wool suits with white shirts, neckties, and dark leather shoes. In the photograph’s bottom white sheet is an inscription in black ink that reads: [Now, Colin, Here’s the way I see it!! Thanks, neighbor - / George Bush]. The photograph (a) is set behind a dark blue mat and housed inside of a medium brown, deep set, wooden frame (b).
