- One (1) Republic of Vietnam Staff Service First Class Medal ribbon worn by Major Colin L. Powell, earned for his military service in Vietnam in 1969. This square metal and cloth ribbon (also called service ribbon or ribbon bar) features four (4) striped colors in the following order: light green, black, bright red, white, bright red, white, bright red, white, bright red, black, and light green. When worn on the Army Service uniform, it is attached at the proper left chest above the breast pocket.
