- Description
- One (1) U.S. Army Expert Marksmanship badge worn by General Colin L. Powell. This dark silver metal Expert badge, the highest grade of marksmanship awarded by the United States Army, is designed in the four (4) sided sharpshooter emblem encircled by an oval oak leaf wreath. Suspended from the badge are Army Weapon Qualification Clasps or Bars that indicate the type of weapon qualification. From top to bottom, General Powell’s badge has the Rifle, Pistol, Submachine Gun, and Bayonet bars. On the reverse of the badge is a long needle and bar pin. When worn on the Army Service uniform jacket the badge is attached on the left side of the proper left breast pocket flap.
