- This is a black and silver lace caftan belonging to Etta Moten Barnett. The caftan is a long rectanglular piece of lace sewn partway down the sides with openings for the arms at the top and a slight scoop at the neck opening. There is a black stripe running vertically from each shoulder to the bottom hem.
