- Description
- This is a gold and enamel Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) pendant belonging to Etta Moten Barnett. The pendant consists of a circle of gold colored metal with a small loop on its top rim for suspension. On the front face of the pendant is the AKA crest in the center with the two shaking hands above the shield and the Greek motto below the shield. The crest is encircled by a green enameled wreath of laurel leaves. Outside of the leaves around of the perimeter of the pendant is raised text that reads “48th BOULE – HOUSTON TEXAS.”
