Description
This is a red and white checked apron belonging to Etta Moten Barnett. The apron consists of cloth with a small red and white checked pattern with red piping at the hems. In the center of the chest are embroidered three letters in red thread that read “E / M / B.” This apron is the style that goes over the head and has a matching front and back side connected by straps that go over the shoulders. There are two red strings on each side that tie together at the waist. The front of the apron has two deep pockets. There is no tag or label.
