Description
This is a blue beaded evening bag belonging to Etta Moten Barnett. The bag is a rectangular clutch with a hinged opening. The flap closes with a metal snap closure. The exterior of the bag is covered in tiny dark blue beads sewn into swirling patterns. The interior of the bag is lined in black silk. There is a cream colored tag sewn onto the interior pocket on the rear panel of the bag. It has gold colored text that reads “MADE IN BELGIUM / BY HAND / WALBORG.” There is a small ‘W’ within a circle topped by a crown after Walborg.
