- This image of Etta Moten Barnett was captured by Italian photographer Florencio Bixio, who operated a studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Barnett was sent to Latin America by RKO to promote the film, Flying Down to Rio (1933).
- Description
- This is a black and white poster of Etta Moten Barnett. She is depicted in profile, seated, turning her head over her proper left shoulder to gaze at the viewer. She wears a light-colored suit jacket and matching bottom. Her left arm rests on her left knee, on top of a pair of black gloves draped across her thigh. She wears a light-colored hat with a shallow crown and a wide brim with dark bows on one side. On the bottom proper right quadrant is white text that reads “Foto: / F. Bixio y Cia / B de Irigoyen 185 / B Aires.”
