- Description
- This is a round pinback button for Forum ’85 belonging to Etta Moten Barnett. It is a bright blue with white text across the top and bottom. Text at the top reads “FORUM / ’85.” In place of the letter ‘o’ is a small graphic of a globe. Text across the bottom of the in reads “NAIROBI, KENYA / JULY 10-19.” A horizontal rectangular space is cut out of the center of the button. A piece of paper is inserted into the space with handwritten text in black ink. It reads “Etta Moten Barnett / U.S.A / Chicago, Illinois.” The back of the button is metal has two pieces of scotch tape holding the piece of paper in place.
