YHI 2020: The Paradox of Liberty: The African American Experience during the Revolutionary War and Early Republic (1763 – 1803)

The Young Historians Institute is a rigorous weeklong program hosted by the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) for rising high school students in grades 10 to 12. Students will focus on exploring and practicing the historical thinking skills that define the life and work of professional historians.
