Group Visits

The National Museum of African American History and Culture has an online system for groups of 10 or more to reserve passes.

With this system, groups have access to real-time availability of dates and times in three month intervals. Groups will receive a single pass for the entire group to enter the museum instead of separate passes.
Passes are required for groups of 10 people or more every day of the year, during both peak and off-peak times. The Museum offers group entry on a first-come, first-serve basis for 75,000 persons or more each month, with more availability on weekends when groups frequently visit.

Passes for group visits are available on the following dates:

  • Modifying the number of persons in your group by more than ten will require a new group visit request.
  • Determine alternative dates and times for your group to visit because your preferred date and time may not be available for selection.
  • Determine the person leading your group’s visit. Have that person’s full name, email address, and phone number available. The individual making the group reservation is not required to be the group leader.
  • Do not submit multiple group requests. The Museum will not honor requests for multiple dates and times.
