About the Alphabet Rockers: The Alphabet Rockers are a multi-racial, intergenerational hip hop crew, with 10 years of experience performing for kids ages 5-10. Led by Kaitlin McGaw and Tommy Shepherd, their mission is to inspire American kids to stand up to hate and be their brave and beautiful selves. The Alphabet Rockers appeal to a broad audience with lyrics like “I will stand up for you” and “I shine in my beautiful skin.” Alphabet Rockers’ music, videos, concerts and curriculum are designed by an intercultural team of anti-bias thought leaders, educators, artists, parents and young people of all genders. Their work sparks an intergenerational conversation about the world and engages young change-makers and their adult allies in positive solutions. The Alphabet Rockers reached 300,000 kids and families last year while touring their most recent GRAMMY-nominated 2018 Best Children’s Album, “Rise Shine #Woke.”
